We carry so many stories within our bodies — lineage, place, relationships, passions, studies, visions and heartbreaks. In this unique workshop we will immerse in how stories are carried within the body by entering the teaching stories of our own lives and exploring the Yin aspects of our bodies and sensations. Practice Yin while receiving Thai Massage in a container woven with ecstatic poetry and sound. Learn an introductory sequence in Thai Massage with its powerful meeting of healing touch with kindness. Vision within old stories, written reflections, yoga Nidra archetypes, and shared discussion.
Through focused stillness and dynamic group practices, we will meet at the intersection of meditation and storytelling, teaching and deep listening. We will listen to old stories, tell our own stories, and share in the wisdom of the body together. This workshop is open to yoga students and teachers of all levels, and those particularly interested in storytelling and the contemplative dimensions of physical practice. Led by Eric Archer, a senior Jamtse Yin Yoga teacher and ecstatic poet, artist, and musician, and Diana Seiler, a seasoned Thai Massage therapist and professional massage instructor.
