Listening to the Stories Carried in the Body -
Joining the Archetypes and Storytelling with the heart of the Yin Practice
with Biff Mithoefer and Eric Archer
In this online training Biff and Eric will combine the teachings of the three Jamtse Yin Yoga Modules in which to deepen our understanding of how the archetypes and storytelling can come alive within the Yin practice and our own unique paths.
As we walk our own path of heart and meaning, how to we refine the stories we carry, and look more deeply at the teaching stories in our own lives? Here the four archetypes provide potent lenses for understanding our gifts and how they may manifest in the world. Storytelling helps to see the relationships we cultivate, and how our teaching is always growing from the stories we carry within our lives and practices.
We will ground these explorations in the Yin practice itself, returning to the body in which to anchor our understandings. Each session will include embodied practices for experiencing the archetypes that live within our own teaching stories, while also expanding to group discussion and personal storytelling to access new perspectives.
We will listen to and tell old stories, and develop our capacity for hearing and sharing within our own practice.
This workshop is open to anyone interested in the Yin practice, and no previous experience in the Modules 1, 2 or 3 are necessary as these will be reviewed.
In many ways this training can be seen as a broader introduction to the Yin path, as well as a deep synthesis of all three modules for those looking to revisit them.
